PUPPY TRAINING PROGRAMME

At Pup Scouts, we believe that raising a puppy is about so much more than teaching them to sit and stay. It’s about building a strong bond, understanding how your puppy learns, and giving them the confidence and skills they need to navigate the world around them.

Our six session Puppy Training Programme is designed for puppies up to 12 months old and supports you through those important early stages of life. Our 1-1 sessions combine learning at home with practical outdoor training to build a strong learning foundation ahead of

A PROGRAMME TAILORED TO YOU AND YOUR PUPPY

Every puppy is an individual, which is why we take the time to get to know you, your puppy, your home environment and your goals. Sessions are tailored to your puppy’s progress, with practical exercises and guidance between weekly 1-1 sessions.

Throughout the programme, we cover a range of essential life skills, including:

POSITIVE TRAINING, BUILT AROUND REAL LIFE

Our training methods are rooted in positive reinforcement and is reward-based. We help you understand WHY your puppy behaves as they do, how they learn, and how you can guide them towards good choices. We focus on building confidence, trust and a positive relationship that will continue to grow long after the programme has finished.

EVERY LITTLE ACHIEVEMENT DESERVES A BADGE!

As part of the Pup Scouts experience, your puppy will earn their very own Scout badges as they progress through the programme. We love celebrating every win - big and small!

CONTINUED SUPPORT

Once your puppy has graduated from the programme, we offer additional lead walking and recall sessions to help you build on those foundations and continue developing their skills. We also offer our clients the opportunity to join us on controlled social walks, to help gain confidence with dog-dog interactions for both puppy and owner.
